      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Independently manage medical malpractice claims for assigned members, ensuring a proactive approach to resolution
      - Conduct initial coverage analysis and develop action plans in collaboration with defense counsel and supervisors
      - Consult with external stakeholders to optimize results during the investigation and discovery process
      - Provide ongoing support and communication with insured members regarding claim updates
      - Attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials as necessary to advocate for members

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Three to five (3-5) years of medical malpractice or equivalent claims-related experience
      - Ability to negotiate settlements and recommend appropriate case reserves
      - Strong analytical skills to evaluate facts, allegations, liability, and damages issues
      - Excellent communication skills to interact with members, stakeholders, and legal teams

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a telecommuting role within the insurance or legal field
      - Familiarity with risk management and claims resolution processes
      - Additional certifications in insurance or claims management
      - Strong understanding of medical malpractice law and regulations
      - Proven track record of successful negotiation outcomes
