Beginning in 1879, we are Linn County's First Children's Human Services agency. We're always evolving to serve the needs of our community. Our programs focus on prevention, treatment and outreach, and serve children and teens of all ages. As a non-profit organization, Tanager is proud to support more than 4,000 kids per year.

Job Details

As our Claims Specialist, you will serve as a productive team member of the Claims Department and be responsible for service billing processes and accounts receivable management in order to meet the operational needs of the Agency. The Claims Specialist will be preparing and submitting billing invoices to Medicaid, insurance companies and other payers, in an accurate and timely manner for all designated payers while effectively managing patient accounts and collection efforts.

Qualifications

Qualified Candidates

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year prior experience with billing practices and procedures.
• At least two years' experience with managed care organizations.
