What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain quality and procedure standards, including review and examination of claims to ensure proper handling
- Complete claims tasks in a timely manner while meeting production requirements
- Review and understand plans, documents, and vendors, ensuring proper system setup during claims processing
- Identify and report potential errors, problems, or issues regarding plan documents and claims processing
- Provide direct client contact and internal staff support to ensure customer and member satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years of claims processing experience
- Must be computer literate and knowledgeable in Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred, specifically in healthcare, health insurance, medical office, or clinical experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate Degree in Business preferred
- 5+ years of claims processing experience in the QicLink system
- Knowledge of insurance database systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish mutual goals
- Experience in billing or admissions at a front desk
