      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review claim assignments to determine policy coverage and compensability of injuries or illnesses
      - Conduct interviews and analyze relevant documents to research facts and establish relationships with insureds and their employees
      - Request and analyze medical records to determine compensability and interact with medical providers to establish treatment plans
      - Make timely decisions regarding claims and communicate these decisions to all stakeholders
      - Participate in internal and external continuing education opportunities to develop claims handling skills

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma required; post-secondary education or a Bachelor’s degree is advantageous
      - Must meet state licensing requirements to handle claims
      - Minimum of 3 years of general work experience
      - Completion of the Workers’ Recovery Professional (WRP) certification program within 2 years of hire
      - Basic knowledge of insurance, medical, and/or legal concepts is considered advantageous
