What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise, evaluate, train, and support claims staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Monitor production and performance of claims staff, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Assist the claims manager with training and address claims-related concerns
- Conduct regular claim reviews and address any identified issues, including compliance and accuracy
- Work directly with clients, brokers, agents, and regulators to explain claims-related services and ensure compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years of claims management experience
- Insurance industry knowledge required
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent technical skills associated with claims management
