What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and lead a Workers Compensation claims team, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Promote best practices by guiding the claims team in accordance with organizational standards
- Manage workloads by defining team goals and motivating performance for optimal efficiency
- Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and brokers to maintain positive relationships
- Identify coaching opportunities to position team members for successful development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years of related claims experience
- Active adjuster license for New York
- Jurisdictional experience with Workers Compensation claims in New York
- Knowledge of all team member-related functions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of claims experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
