- Collaborate with CLAS faculty, graduate students, and staff to help them navigate the UF Risk Management Program.
- Provide solutions aligned with UF policies, industry best practices, and federal/state laws.
- Emphasize considerations such as data classification, data flow, and privacy.
- Educate end users on the security implications of their technology solutions.
- Support timely and complete submissions of Risk Assessments within UF’s Risk Management System.
- Upload Software License Agreements to UF Procurement as needed.
- Deliver weekly status updates to CLAS IT Director and CLAS Leadership on delayed or “stalled” risk assessments.
- Monitor and interpret evolving UF information security policies.
- Advise CLAS IT leadership on new or revised policy implications.
- Stay informed on industry trends to maintain appropriate security posture.
- Perform vulnerability scans using UFIT’s Self-Service Scanning Tool.
- Respond to security incidents reported by UFIT Information Security.
- Assign incident response tasks to appropriate CLAS IT staff as needed.
- Develop and maintain the CLAS-specific cybersecurity framework.
- Identify areas of risk or improvement and propose enhancements.
- Ensure framework alignment with university-wide security goals.
- Manage access controls for CLAS IT resources (e.g., shared drives, printers).
- Conduct annual audits of group memberships to ensure appropriate access.
- Monitor UFIT dashboards (e.g., EDR, InTune) to identify and address potential threats.
- Triage and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
- Assist in drafting and updating internal CLAS policies and procedures in response to new or evolving regulatory and university security requirements.
- Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Experience working with group memberships in an Active Directory environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

Expected Salary: The salary is $70,000 - $80,000.
