Here at GXO, we’re looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Crewe, working in conjunction with our customer, TJX. This is a full-time, permanent position, covering an average of 48 hours per week on an ‘any 5 from 7’ day shift pattern, covering either Tuesday to Saturday with start times from 19:00, or Monday to Friday, with start times between 20:00 – 21:00.

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll receive:

• An annual salary of £39,486.72
• Overtime is paid on a sixth shift basis, at time and a half for the hours worked

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Complete trunking duties
• Ensure that all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and on-time, and provided to the debrief team on return to site
• Guarantee the safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times in line with company standard
• Assure that all vehicle defects are reported to the transport office as soon as you have been made aware of them

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
• An up-to-date driver qualification card (CPC)
• A digital tachograph
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, DG, or IN endorsements)
