      Job summary

      To work as part of the cleaning team ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and good hygiene is maintained throughout the Practice.

      • To ensure that all areas of the Surgery are cleaned to a high standard.

      • To follow the appropriate guidelines with regards to; areas to be cleaned, products to be used and the disposing of cloths/rubbish.

      • To keep a check on cleaning materials and inform the Cleaning Supervisor when stock is low.

      • To ensure the safe and secure locking up of the buildings at the end of a shift.

      • To report any problems/highlight any risks to the Cleaning Supervisor/AGM.

      • To participate in any training that may be considered appropriate for your role.

      • To be flexible to the changing demands of the post, such as adapting to meet the new CQC guidelines.

      • To undertake other reasonable tasks appropriate to the post as required.

      Main duties of the job

      The successful candidate will be a team player with good communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desirable.

      Southgates and The Woottons Surgeries are based in King's Lynn and it has a long and proud history of excellent patient care.

      We are looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly and professional team at our Southgates Practice. The cleaning team is a team of 4 people.

      This is a part-time position for 4 hours per week. The hours are likely to be 17:30-19:30 for 2 evenings per week (Mon & Fri). In addition there will be overtime available to cover sickness/holidays.
