      As a Cleaning Operative at JLL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for our employees and visitors. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of designated areas while adhering to industry standards and JLL's operational protocols. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.

      Full time (flexible between 05.00-16.00)

      Responsibilities:

      Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins, in assigned areas to promote a clean and well-maintained work environment.

      Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, meeting rooms, and other common areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

      Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and hard floor maintenance, as directed by the Team Leader or Facility Manager.

      Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering new supplies when needed. Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Facility Manager promptly.

      Respond to urgent cleaning requests and spills efficiently, minimizing any potential disruption to business operations.

      Follow established cleaning schedules and routines to ensure consistency in service levels.

      Adhere to JLL's health and safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with COSHH regulations.

      Collaborate with the cleaning team and other stakeholders to create a positive and harmonious work environment.

      Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach, addressing any feedback or concerns promptly and effectively.

      Requirements:

      • Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or corporate environment.
      • Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
      • Familiarity with health and safety guidelines and an understanding of COSHH regulations is beneficial.
      • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in performing cleaning tasks.
      • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively, while also being a reliable team player.
      • Good communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow instructions, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
      • Physical stamina to handle the demands of cleaning activities and lifting heavy objects, if required.
