What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Process new referrals by verifying patient eligibility and coordinating benefits
- Document patient insurance coverage details, including medications and infusion services
- Calculate estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification
- Initiate and follow up on payer authorization requests and obtain necessary clinical documents
- Communicate with patients and referral sources regarding referral status and coverage updates

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy and/or medical intake/reimbursement experience
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of CPR+ software
- Experience interpreting payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
