Job Description

- Acquire and maintain daily ADA records.
- Collect and record all absences.
- Maintain and process other attendance records.
- Enter ADA and UE absences on the computer.
- Balance ADA report.
- Notify parent.
- Write admits and early dismissal.
- Filing.
- Refer students with attendance problems to the principal and/or attendance officer.
- Assist principals, counselors, and parents in communicating with students.
- Process student withdrawals.
- Deliver messages and items to students.
- Record in and out activity of the students.
- Assist in training student aides (junior and senior high).
- Assist in preparation of the opening of the school year.
- Registration.
- Receptionist and answer phone.
- Collect homework for children who have been ill.
Reports To: Principal
Duty Days: 201 Days
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Grade: AS02
Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Receptionist skills
Two years office experience
General office management and machines skills
Computer skills
Primary Purpose:
Maintain attendance records for the campus as assigned
