- Minimum of one year experience in a clerical position
- Demonstrated knowledge of pertinent collective agreements as they relate to staff scheduling.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computerized payroll, daily time input or accounting systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, database & spreadsheet software programs.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Call and shift work required, evenings, nights, and weekends

About the Opportunity
The Biomedical Statistics Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to the Bio-medical Engineering department which consists of 25 technical staff and 6 administrative staff spread over two physical locations. The department provides services to the entire Nova Scotia Health Authority, Central Zone, consisting of over 12,000 pieces of equipment in 250 departments spread over 9 facilities, resulting in approximately 25,000 work orders a year. Additionally, this position provides statistical data and month end and other periodic reporting to department management as well as provides statistical information to others on demand. This position is responsible for maintaining the accurate of the equipment maintenance management database which impacts patient safety and protects the liability of the hospital.

Compensation and Incentives
$23.19 - $26.24 Hourly
Location will be determined based on the Successful Candidate. This position is eligible to participate in our work from home program. Site, Location and Constituent Union will be determined once the successful candidate is identified.
