      Duty Days: 197 Days

      Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

      Pay Grade: AS01

      Qualifications:

      College hours, high school diploma or GED

      Proficient keyboarding, word processing, and file maintenance skills

      Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

      General office management

      Ability to work with people

      Receptionist skills

      Literacy in spelling and grammar

      School office experience or volunteer experience (preferred)

      Primary Purpose:

      Clerical Duties as assigned.

      Major Duties and Responsibilities:

      1. Filing - set up new files and keep all files orderly and current.
      2. Type correspondence, forms, etc.
      3. Answer telephone, take messages, and transfer calls.
      4. General receptionist duties.
      5. Assist students and teachers when required.
      6. Other duties as assigned.

      Equipment Used:

      Personal computer, typewriter, printer, copier, and fax machine.

      Working Conditions:

      Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions.
