      We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Client Execution Quality and Order Routing Analyst to join our OTIS team. This role is located in New York, NY - HYBRID.

      In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

      • Monitor executions in equities, fixed income and options to insure prices are inline with the underlying market and take action to adjust any bad executions.
      • Leverage 3rd party (TKG) execution quality front end to gauge counterparties (wholesaler and market makers) execution quality as measured by effective/quoted, price improvement and execution speed. Adjust routing based on the data.
      • Frequent internal and external best execution meetings with counterparties and key stake holders to review performance, discuss new venues, address strategic initiatives and provide feedback on any regulatory changes that may need to be addressed.
      • Play a lead role in publishing 605/606 reports and monthly scorecards outlining execution quality and performance as measured by key metrics.

      To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

      • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 7-10 of total work experience preferred.
      • Analytical mindset with the ability to use a variety of software, including Excel and Power Point, to review execution data and provide feedback to clients, team and management.
      • Keen understanding of equities, options and fixed income market structure and regulatory reporting requirements to address the ever-changing market structure landscape.
      • Team player with strong presentation skills to assist in monthly and quarterly best execution review meetings with internal advisory groups, committees and clients.
      • Quick learner and technically savvy as role will require interaction with Pershing proprietary systems/technology and third-party software to be successful.
      • Must be level-headed and able to lead various departments through small and large scale business disruptions.

      BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
      This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
