Partner with other client integration specialists to support client integrations within the UniFi technology domain
Knowledge of current SYF and industry POS technology to identify appropriate solutions based on the client’s needs
Partner with merchant/client technology teams as the technical resource from the discovery phase through production rollout as they connect their websites and point-of-sale systems to UniFi and other SYF solutions
Analyze and provide solutions to client challenges during the integration process
Iteratively improve the processes and tools used by the team to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with UniFi product owners to influence ongoing product evolution
Executes systems, integration, and user acceptance testing to support roll-out of new features and functionality
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of IT industry experience with a focus on computer science or software engineering or equivalent OR in lieu of degree 4+ years of IT industry experience.
Strong familiarity of modern web development technologies including RESTful web services, Java, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
High aptitude for client-facing soft skills, including both how to speak with a sales-oriented mindset and the ability to persuade resistant clients towards the best course of action for each individual situation
Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups
Ability to drive continuous improvement and apply lessons learned on an ongoing basis
Strong analytical and technical skillset used to drive requirements, testing and production validation
Capability to communicate effectively with both business and technology teams and act as a bridge between the two worlds

Organizational Overview:
The CTO Business Relations and Innovation organization is charged with managing the technology relationship with our partners and helping them grow their business by implementing financing products. We provide technical expertise and process execution to support client integrations across various SYF products and capabilities.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Client Integration Specialist will work other client integration specialists and partner with merchants to launch SYF’s UniFi solution. This role will act as a technical point-of-contact during UniFi integrations into merchant/client websites and point-of-sale systems. A successful candidate will also be expected to influence the ongoing evolution of the UniFi platform based on client feedback and their own experience with the product.

Work Timings: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
