We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Manager within the Invoice Finance team to join the Debt Finance team.
It’s not just about invoices in this role, expect to get an insight into so much more. You’ll learn about how businesses trade both domestically and internationally and the issues that they face in dealing with different types of debtors, both large and small - from household names like Tesco and Amazon through to niche debtors requiring bespoke products.
Each sector has its own unique trading quirks; they all function slightly differently so you’ll gain an understanding of how we work with these businesses to provide working capital solutions that recognise these nuances, whilst still protecting Santander from credit, operational and financial crime risk.
You’ll get a deeper understanding of how businesses work operationally, how they fit into the supply chain and an insight into how we mitigate against issues that can affect the debtor book that we fund; learning how we assess what’s good to fund and what’s not.
