- Ongoing Account/Relationship Management:
- Participate in the launch meeting and/or attend the regularly scheduled implementation meetings/conference calls.
- Conduct Plan Administrator training
- Provide service according to the GRS published service model
- Complete and maintain client profiles
- Understand the client's business needs and objectives by building a strong ongoing relationship with both the client and market source
- Provide on-going service improvement recommendations
- Support the Plan Sponsor with fulfilling Plan Governance guidelines
- Proactively search and work to increase assets and nurture client relationships
- Provides support and information to the Financial Education team
- Bachelors degree or College Diploma
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in the Canadian pension industry
- Knowledge of group retirement and non-registered savings plans
- Understanding of pension and investment regulations and legislation
- Strong mathematical proficiency is preferred
- CEBS - RPA Designation to be completed within 18 months of being in role
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to set priorities, meet goals, work independently, and to contribute to a team effort
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills and the proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Bilingual English and French oral and written an asset

Client Relationship Manager
This role is primarily home based, with 1 day in the office per week.
Manulife's Group Retirement Solutions division is a leading provider of group retirement savings plans for businesses across Canada. Our plans include Registered Retirement Savings, Defined Contribution, Registered Pension, Deferred Profit Sharing, and Employee Share Ownership programs.
Reporting to the Regional Director, Client Management, this position is accountable for the management of an existing block of business in the Region through post-sale service satisfaction and plan sponsor education, resulting in high client retention for GRS. This will be an inside Client Relationship Management role, servicing our clients in the small and mid case market.
