**This role includes 7 weeks of instructor lead training at our Chattanooga site located at 401 Chestnut Street Suite 110, Chattanooga, TN 37402. Training is expected to begin June 3rd. Although this role is considered work at home, employees will be required to be on site at a local Cigna location for in person instructor led training.
Position Summary
The Client Service Coordinator is responsible for investigating and resolving escalated client service concerns. In doing so, the team partners closely with matrix partners, clients, and brokers. Service concerns range from claim, eligibility, billing and more.
Primary Responsibilities
• Research service inquiries from Sales, Clients, Brokers, in addition to internal partners.
• Manage resolution of inquires in a timely manner.
• Effectively communicate next steps.
• Provide appropriate updates while meeting turnaround time requirements.
• Track all interactions.
• Interact with business partners in a professional manner both verbal and written interactions.
• Service inquiries are received via phone, chat, and email.
• Inquiries include, but are not limited to, questions tied to eligibility, claims, authorization, benefits etc.
• Outbound calls may be required for projects.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years’ experience with multiple software and system-based applications, including database, spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• 2 years customer service background; call center experience is a plus.
• Previous health insurance experience/claims or knowledge preferred.
• Ability to quickly understand the customers’ needs and expectations.
• Strong verbal/written communication, as well as organizational skills to effectively communicate and interact with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple divergent priorities and deadlines.
• Experience working independently and proactively.
• Experience negotiating and managing expectations for mutually acceptable solutions.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills required.
• Ability to effectively problem-solve issues to resolution.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 23 - 35 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
