- Warmly greet clients and coordinating their appointments during check in and check out
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby
- Process payments and reconcile daily transactions
- Manage a multi-line phone system
- Appointment scheduling
- Various administrative tasks, such as composing emails and sending faxes, processing medication refills, submitting insurance claims, and more
- Energetic, personable and people-oriented
- Task-oriented with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional phone demeanor
- Ability to stand comfortably for sustained periods of time
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is a plus!

VCA Blum Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative for our receptionist support team. Come join our growing animal hospital with 5 veterinarians and more than 30 support staff!
Since 1952, we’ve been proud to provide Chicago pets with the highest level of veterinary care and customer service by offering a comprehensive range of veterinary services that meet the gold standard of pet care. Our hospital has been AAHA Accredited since 1972 and Fear Free Certified since 2018.
Summary: Our Client Service Representatives act as a liaison for our large clientele base by providing services information, answering questions, and resolving any problems that may arise with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate should be passionate about maintaining meaningful relationships with our clients and their pets by providing quality customer service.

We are seeking a full-time employee for our PM shift from 10:30am-7:30pm during the week, and two Saturdays per month from 7:30am-2:30pm.
