Position: Position: Climate & Culture Specialist (Job Description https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fk4a339oVMAWNofkJg45n0IQUJq6DVBE/view?usp=sharing ) Location: William Penn Middle School Effective Date: 7.1.24 Job Summary: To work collaboratively with school leaders and staff to create a safe, supportive, and structured school community; oversee and develop policies, practices, and programs that support students’ academic success and social emotional development. Provide students with access to behavioral interventions and supports, restorative learning opportunities, and help all students achieve the fullest benefits from the school’s programs. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required. 3-5 years successful experience as a teacher or working with youth of similar age; demonstrated ability to work with at-risk students required. Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration preferred. 3-5 years experience with PBIS, Restorative Practices, and Social Emotional Learning preferred.
