      Job Summary:

      We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced Climbing Instructor to join our team. If you are passionate about health and wellness, love motivating others, and have a talent for creating fun, effective workouts, we want you! This role offers the opportunity to inspire individuals of all fitness levels while promoting a positive and energetic environment.

      Responsibilities:

      • We're seeking a Climbing Instructor to lead and support our indoor climbing programming. As our new Climbing Instructor, you must be:

      • Enthusiastic about climbing instruction and enjoy creating and delivering safe, engaging, and challenging experiences for participants of all levels

      • Confident in your professionalism by reporting on time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate and educate others

      • A professional who is collaborative, safety-conscious, and a flexible leader both on and off the climbing wall

      • Monitor climbing activities to ensure compliance with all safety protocols and facility rules

      • Inspect climbing equipment and wall features regularly; report or address any safety concerns

      • Support member engagement by building relationships and promoting climbing programs or events

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum of one year of experience actively instructing or supervising indoor rock climbing, including top rope and auto-belay systems

      • Current nationally recognized climbing certification (e.g. AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor, Climbing Wall Association certification, or equivalent)

      • Experience managing safety protocols and providing belay instruction and climber assessments

      • Current CPR/AED certification (First Aid certification strongly desired)

      Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $20.00/unit to $125.00/unit in addition to admin rates as required by local law. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications, duration of class, and work experience as well as other business needs. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part-time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
