      Job Summary

      Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, Administrative Director and the Medical Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing direct clinical care to employees under standardized procedures and for participating in Occupational Health programs such as medical surveillance, outbreak and exposure response.

      The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

      Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

      The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).

      Required Qualifications

      • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN
      • Minimum of 5 years of Occupational Health Nursing experience in a clinical setting
      • Recent (within 2 years) Occupational Health experience coordinating vaccine outreach and surveillance programs for UCSF.
      • Experience in training and orientation of vaccine outreach workers in vaccine administration required by UCSF policy
      • Knowledge of and experience using TrackIt, the UCSF OHS EMR
      • Experience in NHSN reporting (Flu and COVID vaccination metrics)
      • This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations

      Preferred Qualifications

      • COHN or COHN-S Certification
      • Public Health Nurse
      • Advanced Nursing Degree

      License/Certification

      • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
      • Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
