- Manages the daily operations of IEI Primary Care Services.
- Supports the Director to ensure efficient clinical scheduling, insurance eligibility/verification, patient billing, and patient satisfaction.
- Responsible for managing the Primary Care Clinic schedule, reserving schedule updates and adjustments.
- Provides support and initial problem resolution on behalf of patients, families, attending staff, and students.
- Serves as the primary resource in managing daily clinical operation processes and resolving operational issues.
- Responsible for the management of all Primary Care CSAs, including their work product, development, and attendance.
- Responsible for equipment clean up, turn off, and reporting dysfunction to Biomedical Service.
- Maintains and orders inventory of pharmaceuticals, surgical supplies, and other materials used in the Primary Care Service.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong Computer skills and experience using electronic health record systems.
- Thorough understanding and experience working in an ophthalmic practice patient environment.
- Strong commitment to the development of staff and improvement of the department.
- Requires the ability to handle a variety of tasks with speed, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Attendance must be in accordance with the ICO policy.
- Required to work evenings and Saturdays for business needs.
