      Job summary

      We are looking to recruit a Clinic Support and Results Clerk to support the Liverpool HIV & Blood Borne Virus team in Axess Sexual Health .

      The HIV & Blood Borne Virus team are currently housed in The Linda McCartney Centre on the Royal Liverpool Hospital site. We anticipate the service will move to a new city centre location when Axess Sexual Health services in the Linda McCartney Centre and The Beat integrate in the next 12 months

      The team provides treatment and care for people living with HIV based in Liverpool and beyond. Our patients have adverse range of backgrounds including the LGBTQI community, people from Black and ethnic minorities including those seeking asylum in this country. The successful candidates will be committed to contributing to the high quality care offered to all our patients including providing a non-judgemental, respectful and caring service.

      This is a very exciting time for sexual health services in Liverpool with a number of innovations to be implemented alongside these developments with the aim of providing world class services.

      Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems and databases, working with clinical staff at all levels and have excellent customer service skills.

      Main duties of the job

      To undertake this role you will have experience of using Electronic Patient Record Systems, working with databases and data entry and will have excellent customer service skills.

      You be liaising with patients and health care professionals and will be able establish a good rapport and professional relationships with others.

      You will commonly deal with information of a personal and sensitive nature and you will be expected to adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality in the course of your work.
