What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a liaison between the clinical team, patients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders during the reauthorization process
- Process reauthorization requests for injured workers needing continued medical services, particularly in physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Coordinate with the clinical team to gather necessary information for reauthorization requests
- Communicate with clients to explain the reauthorization process and the need for continued services
- Ensure all reauthorization documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare administration or related field required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and healthcare-related software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and rehabilitation services
- Familiarity with insurance and reauthorization processes
