Job Description
- Req#: 223400
- Contract work , with ability to work 12 to 24 hours (or more) per week, with many options to meet personal scheduling needs
- Represent Reinhardt University in maintaining positive relationships with clinical partners
- Possibility for alternative scheduling – weekdays, evenings and/or weekends
- Work a semester at a time or year round
- Attend orientation sessions at the university and at facility assigned.
- Attend faculty meetings as required.
- Responsible for orienting the nursing students to the units assigned.
- Supervising care provided by a group of students (usually 6 to 8 students in a group) while they complete their clinical rotation in the area of specialty.
- Coordinating with clinicians at the clinical site to make student patient assignments.
- Teaching and overseeing students how to perform duties in the clinical site and answering their questions.
- Pre and Post conferences and end of semester clinical conferences
- Evaluating students’ clinical work, and providing timely written responses to students.

Reinhardt University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty members for the School of Nursing. Clinical adjunct faculty must hold an active undisciplined license as an RN in the state of Georgia, have at least three years of clinical experience and hold a BSN (MSN preferred). CPR certified and meet the clinical requirements of the agency assigned.
