      SUMMARY

      Coordinate with partners and client to analyze clinical workflows and gap analysis and create content to drive adoption of future workflows during implementation of new solutions or functionality.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      Includes the following:

      • Collaborates with project teams and client leadership, healthcare professionals, end users and vendors to support the development and deployment of electronic applications or new functionality.
      • Assesses clinical workflow processes, identifies gaps, defines necessary process changes and develops future workflows to optimize new or existing solutions or functionality.
      • Identifies, documents and monitors client’s key business processes needed to achieve successful business results.
      • Identifies electronic documentation solutions which support and optimize clinical workflow and practice and aligns with current best practice standards.
      • Communicates framework for process improvement.
      • Recommends best practices and identifies technological opportunities focusing on enterprise-wide solutions.
      • Develops and leads on plans that meet the client’s clinical and technology needs.
      • Conducts optimization audits and reports findings and recommendations to client’s leadership.
      • Reviews reports, monitors data and outcome measures to evaluate user adoption of current and newly implemented solutions and functionality and effectiveness of adoption strategies.
      • Supports, stages and tests clinical application components.
      • Utilizes resources to ensure collaboration of information and solutions.
      • Ensures timely delivery and quality of all projects while measuring success against client satisfaction, budget, scope, resources and business objectives.
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

      SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

      Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      Bachelor’s Degree in health information management, social sciences, health science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience using electronic clinical applications, including using electronic clinical charting in an acute care setting as a healthcare provider or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience as a super user, educator or instructor providing training and/or support to a variety of adult learners, including using eLearning development tools preferred. Experience working on a clinical implementation system project preferred. Certification in Clinical Informatics preferred. Military healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
      • Advanced knowledge of processes within the project departments including healthcare environments.
      • Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
      • Advanced knowledge of clinic application functions.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and influence stakeholders.
      • Ability to conduct meetings, presentations, or product demonstrations in front of large groups of clients.
      • Understands the healthcare setting and basic functions of a clinically driven revenue cycle, in addition to clinical care.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Advanced leadership skills.
      • Ability to run and decipher analytic reports and effectively communicate findings.
      • Ability to analyze, understand, and effectively communicate clinical workflows.
      • Ability to develop, facilitate or leads team meetings, project meetings and trainings sessions.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Work will require travel, including overnight stays.

      TRAVEL

      50%-75% travel in CONUS (States)

      75-100% travel to include OCONUS (Overseas)

      Must have current Passport.

      Salary: $35/hr.
