What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in evaluating, recommending, and selecting clinical software applications
- Configure, monitor, upgrade, and install assigned clinical software applications
- Ensure adequate testing, quality assurance, and documentation of changes
- Transfer knowledge and provide training to IT employees in clinical software applications
- Continually analyze and recommend improvements to existing clinical application software, equipment, and related processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, nursing, or related field
- Progressive knowledge of assigned clinical software applications and healthcare operations
- Availability for on-call coverage on a rotational basis
- Some travel required, both locally and overnight
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- IT background
- Effective oral, written communication, and follow-up skills
- Strong desktop tool usage, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented problem solver
- Epic certification in corresponding application(s)
