      Clinical Applications Specialist – Field based (National)

      We are looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to provide specialist clinical support and training to all Getinge Cardiovascular and Intensive Care (CIT) customers. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by providing the best possible product training and support for patient care and to promote the portfolio of products that Getinge has to offer. You will work closely and collaboratively with the CIT Sales Team to share, build together, and meet our shared goals and objective.

      Day to day responsibilities will include:

      • Provide Clinical support to CIT customers on a daily basis with training, education, evaluations, trials, troubleshooting and follow up visits. All training must be strictly to the instructions for use for all devices
      • Collaborate with Therapy Development Manager in applications for accreditation with relevant Professional bodies for training provided to Clinical Staff
      • Implementation of all key training programs and tools. Including supporting Marcoms to provide educational and informational support materials for customers
      • Collaborate with extended Clinical Applications Team members to support study days and training courses at the new Derby Centre of Excellence.
      • Collaborate with extended Clinical Applications Team and Therapy Development Manager to plan for new offering of study days and training courses at the new Derby Centre of Excellence
      • Build a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within CIT portfolio
      • Assist regulatory, Quality assurance and marketing with implementation of action items such as FSCA
      • Design plan and implement clinical support activities, in conjunction with the Therapy Development Manager
      • Provide overview of training activities and any relevant documentation into G force to provide training records
      • Use Showpad as a tool to provide education and marketing materials to customers. Manage and monitor all shared spaces to keep documents up to date. Create any training documents in Showpad
      • Use One Support for any reported product complaints
      • Seek any sales opportunities whilst in accounts and advise Sales Manager/Sales Team
      • Support Sales Managers with promotional activities
      • Train and educate through the Getinge Partnership Selling (GPS) sales cycle and address clinical questions and issues
      • Responsibility for timely completion of all relevant training and education documentation
      • Work closely with key stakeholders such as Sales and Service teams and customers within both private and public hospital sites

      Qualification/Education:

      • Degree/Masters level clinical qualification (essential)
      • Intensive Care experience (essential)
      • Cardiac experience (desirable)
      • 5 Years’ experience (desirable)

      Skills & Abilities:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Good presentation skills
      • Training and coaching ability to deliver effectively face to face and virtually
      • Excellent IT skills in MS office, web internet-based communication
      • Ability to create training documentation

      Personal qualities:

      • Ability to work on own initiative
      • Self-motivated
      • UK driving licence
      • Ability to travel freely in the UK & Ireland
      • Able to occasionally attend international meetings and events
      • Ability to build strong relationships

      Special Features/Conditions:

      The role requires international travel. Travel anticipated to average 20-40% annually but may vary depending on project needs.
