      The Physical Therapy Clinical Care Manager is a licensed physical therapist responsible for providing clinical oversight regarding patients treating through CorVel’s CareIQ network. Clinical Care Managers utilize their expertise, education, and professional experience to complete therapy reviews and treatment determinations from medical records, treatment notes, plans of care, peer-to-peer conversations, administrative data, work requirements and claim details. Clinical Care Managers provide collaborative support to claims professionals and case management along with treatment recommendations to help ensure claimants achieve optimized outcomes

      This is a remote role, candidate needs to reside and retain work in Eastern or Central time zone.
      A wired connection to your modem from a broadband internet network with a minimum bandwidth of at least 3 Mbps is required for this position.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Utilizes CorVel's proprietary systems and program’s best practices to review and evaluate medical records and treatment notes associated with claimants' care
      • Provides email and telephonic communication to providers, claims and case management staff to impact quality and outcomes of treatment
      • Utilizes clinical expertise to asses and determine appropriateness of current treatment and make recommendations regarding continued treatment
      • Completes effective and collaborative peer-to-peer conversations with rendering providers for treatment recommendations and/or seeking additional information
      • Acts as a clinical resource to administrative, managerial, and claims staff
      • Collaborates with other clinical care management staff for ongoing research and education
      • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
      • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
      • Complies with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
      • Additional Duties as required

      KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

      • Excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders
      • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

      EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

      • Current PT licensure and a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a minimum of a Bachelor, Master or Doctor of Physical Therapy required
      • Minimum 5 or more years of recent clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting is required

      PAY RANGE:

      CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

      For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

      Pay Range: $68,696 - $114,313
