      This position has a pay rate of $46,612.00 annually.

      Provides appropriate treatment planning for children and families on an assigned caseload in accordance with all applicable contractual and regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Works as part of a treatment team with other service providers.

      Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve a maximum caseload of eight (8) EFC/ETFC children. Provide coordination of treatment planning, including social casework, engagement, mentoring, and community referral
    • Comply with all contract foster care service requirements, including but not limited to, child contact, birth parent/family planning contact, foster parent contact, sibling contact and parenting time requirements are met as outlined in policy
    • Maintain weekly contact with the Behavioral Aide/Specialist, when authorized, to assist his/her understanding of the child’s treatment plan and his/her role in achieving the child’s goals of acquiring developmental and therapeutically appropriate daily living and social skills, and recreational and leisure activities
    • Work collaboratively with referral sources, agencies, institutions, and individuals who have important roles in the client’s life situation. Communicate no less than monthly with each child’s mental health provider to monitor each child’s progress in treatment and ensure coordination of services to the child. Coordinate and collaborate with the educational system, having contact with the child’s school at least monthly
    • Review behavior logs completed by the caregiver minimally on a monthly basis
    • Prepare for supervisory conferences and provide documented assurance that all assigned cases are being handled on a regular basis, in accordance with the treatment plan
    • Assume responsibility for any reports specific to Enhanced Foster Care. Collect, analyze, evaluate and document appropriate data and client progress, as required for record keeping and reporting
    • Attend and testify, as requested, at all scheduled court hearings on assigned caseloads

      Job Qualifications

      Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

      ETFC

      • Master Degree in human service related field; Or
      • Bachelor degree in a human services field and two years’ experience working with children and families; Or
      • Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in alternate field with a minimum of 30 credit hours in the human services field with two years’ experience working with children and families

      Experience

      • Experience with children and families with multiple problems and overall ability to relate to and engage with children and families in resolution of these problems

      Additional Work Requirements

      • Participate in a system of 24-hour availability to clients, caregivers, birth parents/planning family and youth, as required
      • Unrestricted, valid driver’s license with good driving record. Reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served; proof of current automobile insurance
