      Job summary

      We are at an exciting period of our practices journey and we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Clinical Coder to join the team.

      Hours will be 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday, times to be agreed.

      Main duties of the job

      To be shortlisted, you will need to have experience interpreting medical terminology and be able to accurately analyse and code on to patients medical record.

      You must work well under pressure, with varying demands of work throughout the day, which is all business critical and you need to have a good prioritisation skills and be organised in managing these.

      Ensure you have IT skills including data quality, and are able to follow Teldocs data protection and confidentiality policies amongst others at all times.

      You must be able to communicate effectively; working closely with all Managers and departmental functions, with a strong team ethos and can-do attitude and bring a positive and significant contribution to the team.

      Assist Coding Team Lead with day-to-day operations, training within the Team, action sickness and rotas.
