- Using document management within the EMIS web clinical system and Docman 10, accurately code information from clinical letters.
- Scanning of patient related documentation and coding relevant information.
- Dealing with any follow up actions from the documents, such as arranging appointments or tests.

- Process the clinical letters in accordance with the incoming post protocol.

Job summary
Spring Garden Group Medical Practice has a fantastic opportunity for a part-time clinical coder to join our team.
If you are highly organised, motivated, comfortable with technology, have experience of clinical coding, this is the role for you.
This is a 25 hour per week post, and the days can be negotiated to suit you and the needs of the practice team.
Main duties of the job
As a clinical coder, you will be reviewing electronic clinical letters, clinical e-mails, paper documentation and any other clinical correspondence. From these you will identify relevant clinical findings and code the documents appropriately and accurately in patient medical records.
