Overview
The Clinical Coordinator, RN is responsible for the coordination of the departmental clinical operations. Coordinates admissions and transfers to facilitate timely patient flow throughout the department. Delegates patient care to appropriate personnel by making assignments based on needs, abilities, and expertise. Identifies appropriate communication, and coordination methodologies and practices to ensure smooth processes within the perioperative period, supporting anesthesia personnel, surgeons, nursing and staff. The Clinical Coordinator understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.
