      Job Description

      The Clinical Data Programmer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of electronic case report forms (eCRFs) within clinical databases. This role involves developing and executing validation plans, performing quality control checks, performing User Acceptance Testing, and collaborating with clinical data management teams to maintain high data standards.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement validation plans for eCRFs to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
      • Perform detailed quality control checks on eCRFs to identify and resolve discrepancies
      • Collaborate with clinical data managers and database programmers to design and optimize eCRFs
      • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify the functionality and reliability of eCRFs
      • Document validation processes and results, ensuring thorough and accurate records
      • Provide training and support to clinical research staff on eCRF validation procedures
      • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to eCRF validation and clinical data management
      • Develop test cases for software validation

      Essential Skills

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
      • Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and eCRF design
      • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
      • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
      • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials (e.g., GCP, FDA, EMA)
      • Experience with SAS programming
      • Experience in clinical research and data management
      • Experience with software development using languages and tools such as Java, JavaScript, and Groovy

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
