What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective documentation reviews of medical records for clinical validation
- Support Documentation Improvement Task Force in educating and reinforcing the use of CDI Guides/Evidence Based Diagnostic Criteria
- Ensure physician awareness of documentation and coding guidelines for appropriate reimbursement
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Maintain chart integrity and accuracy for reimbursement purposes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- RHIA, RHIT, CCDS, CCS, or CPCH, or RN Certification
- Two (2) years of professional nursing experience or three (3) years of inpatient coding experience
- Proven CDI/DRG ability through work sample
- Full-time availability for 32 hours per week
- Hybrid - Remote and onsite work

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate in Health Information Management or Bachelors in Health Information Management
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license to practice in the State of Ohio or current multi-state RN Licensure recognized by Ohio
