      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
      - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding
      - Provide education and training to clinical staff on best practices for documentation improvement
      - Utilize data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement in clinical documentation
      - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the development of policies and procedures related to clinical documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or a related field
      - Active RN license
      - Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is required; advanced degrees preferred
      - Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding and DRG assignment
      - Ability to work on multiple projects and validate large amounts of data from diverse sources

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in Case Management/Care Coordination
      - Familiarity with HIM/Coding principles
      - Proficiency in data manipulation and interpretation using various relational database platforms such as Access, FoxPro, or MS SQL
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
