What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate and obtain quality physician documentation for clinical conditions and procedures
- Educate patient care team members on documentation guidelines and compliance
- Review medical records for documentation accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to educational opportunities

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree and 5+ years of experience in healthcare
- Minimum of 5 years of acute care experience
- At least 2 years of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience
- Current active State license as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant, or an unlicensed physician from an accredited medical school
- CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) or CDIP (Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner) certification

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- BSN or higher degree with 3+ years of CDI experience
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) certification
