- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Marketing, Business, or related field is required
- Minimum two to five years’ experience in sales or sales support related role is preferred
- Minimum of five to seven years of clinical experience in the NICU: Dietician, Clinical Nurse Specialist/Educator, Feeding Interventionist (OT/ST), Infection Control; RN or BSN
- NICU RN preferred, IBCLC is a plus
- Clinical management and/or leadership role experience in the NICU strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
- Preferred experience with Medela professional products
- Ability to communicate and effective sell in a highly technical environment with a broad spectrum of healthcare professionals consisting of Neonatologist, hospital administration, nurses, and lactation consultants on product technology and research information
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong computer and internet skills; software experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Responsible for education of health care providers (HCP’s) regarding Medela’s products, technology and clinical differentiation in the NICU market within assigned region.
- Responsible for education of existing products and new products into the NICU market with the expectation of achieving target goals.
- Establish a foundation of strong educational relationships including KOL’s with product awareness within the NICU departments of targeted accounts and territory that provides a route to educate, market and implementation of new products in the future
- Responsible for working cross functionally with local sales reps, sales managers, and marketing to ensure appropriate education into the NICU and other appropriate markets.
- Keep timely records and manage all customer activities tracking various projects assigned document as necessary in company software (Salesforce.com).
- Coordinate and execute all strategic educational programs and initiatives
- Establish a foundation of strong educational relationships including KOL’s with product awareness within the NICU departments of targeted accounts and territory that provides a route to educate, market and implementation of new products in the future
- Enhance KOL relationships within assigned region including but not limited to anyone under a consulting agreement with Medela
- Collaborate with Marketing, National Accounts, Sales and any other necessary groups as a clinical expert on various projects as well as product development
- Responsible for implementation and execution of all strategic educational programs and initiatives both regionally and nationally

Total Compensation Package: 145K-155K
