- Accountable for the development and maintenance of clinical education sites and clinical education contracts/agreements in alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Office of General Counsel for the approval of clinical education agreements.
- Responsible for clinical education-related communication between the Occupational Therapy program, students, and administrative/clinical personnel at each clinical education site.
- Analyze, evaluate, and provide solutions for program risks and produce clinical education reports for management and stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and manage all clinical education databases.
- Accountable for the custody of confidential information and for delivering accurate measurables to guarantee program compliance related to clinical education and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Contribute information and recommendation to strategic planning, program assessment, and program reviews.
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to coordinate travel arrangements, authorizations, and expense reimbursements for clinical education travel.
- Manage program projects and events related to clinical education and student success.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Attend department faculty and staff meetings.
- Assist with clinical education and/or administrative tasks during lab immersions.
- Provide direct support during assigned on-site or off-site events including, but not limited to, orientation, admissions events, graduations, etc.
- Participate in departmental special events (community service days, etc.) as time permits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
The Clinical Education Program Manager helps support the mission of Baylor University and the Department of Occupational Therapy by managing, assisting, and directly supporting all clinical education processes, and more importantly the students, to ensure their retention and success in clinical education, and as they move forward in their career.
A Bachelor's degree and an active Christian faith are required. Three years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Level of Independence: This position may have the authority to commit the employer in matters that have financial impact. Advanced knowledge is required in planning and completing assignments, resolving conflicts and coordinating work with others. This position has the authority to make decisions without direction from supervisor.
Job Requirements: The position requires significant contact with students, faculty, and staff and with internal and external constituents for coordination of student services. Travel is an expectation and requirement of this position and may include some on-campus responsibilities. Majority of work can be completed remotely. Travel to Waco, TX for occasional meetings is required.

The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $49,000 - $50,000.
The full salary range for this position classification is $42,974.63 - $70,908.14.
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
