      The role:

      • In liaison with key stakeholders, undertake effective analysis, design, development and testing for creation of basic and complex electronic (e) forms to replace paper-based clinical documentation.
      • Utilise and apply the Orbeon eForm development platform in the hospital's Digital Medical Record (DMR), in conjunction with a working knowledge of XHTML, XML, XPath, WYSIWYG interfaces, data models, web services, graphic design, form design standards and data interoperability standardisation, to deliver electronic clinical information solutions.
      • Identify and resolve complex problems, produce workable/technical solutions and innovations, and make recommendations to stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in relation to eForms.
      • Support and facilitate training of clinical and administrative staff throughout the transition phase from paper-based clinical data capture to eForm clinical data capture, including authorship of documentation such as training and testing materials for stakeholders.
      • Maintain documentation required for the role including, but not limited to, eForm components of clinical forms registers, other document repositories, procedures, correspondence, minutes, and statistics.

      Details of Appointment

      Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

      • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

      Location: Hobart, Tasmania

      Salary: $92,615 to $97,152 per annum + 11% superannuation

      • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

      Eligibility:

      Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

      • Holds or is working towards a relevant qualification in Information and Communication Technology, with a preference in training related to broader software development methodologies, including project work and programming
