- Education: Bachelor's degree required. BSN required. Graduate preferred.
- Experience:Minimum of three years of RN experience, required. Experience in supply chain and/or value analysis, preferred.
- Licensure/certification/registration:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Strong professional demeanor, independent learner and highly motivated self-starter. Strong problem solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, training and communication skills. Highly organized. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office). Ability to interact with physicians and clinical staff.
Overview
This position serves as the clinical expert and liaison for Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing initiatives throughout Novant Health facilities and physician offices. The focus of the role is to serve as the clinical lead for Sourcing initiatives by assisting with trials, evaluations, implementation, communication and education. This individual is dedicated to clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through clinical efficacy of healthcare products and services for the greatest financial value. This individual is responsible for identifying opportunities for standardization or savings within the health system, using best practice evidenced based data, market trend data and information gathered from interaction with clinical departments. This position requires an ability to work on multiple requests concurrently, prioritization of workload based on need, excellent communication, and computer and presentation skills. This individual is required to communicate with all levels of the organization (hospital administration, physicians and nurses). This individual must adapt well to stress, perform under pressure and demonstrate an understanding of healthcare technology and product knowledge.
