What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and review equipment plans and budget estimates for capital projects across medical facilities
- Collaborate with Materials Management to enforce equipment manufacturer standards and develop technical RFP specifications
- Provide administrative support for major construction projects, ensuring adherence to equipment standards and budget management
- Communicate professionally with senior management, clinical managers, and other stakeholders to manage project expectations
- Lead and collaborate with various teams to implement equipment plans for special projects throughout the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in a hospital clinical setting involving complex medical systems
- Thorough knowledge of medical system design and function, as well as computer and network system design
- Proven leadership and project management experience across all project phases
- Excellent technical, interpersonal, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification as Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE), Certified Biomedical Equipment Tech (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialists (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) by AAMI
- Additional related education and/or experience
