      Job summary

      The Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BHNFT) Emergency Department (ED) are seeking to recruit to our dynamic team.

      Barnsley Emergency Department sees over 100,000 patients yearly. The department boasts specialised areas in which adult and paediatric patients are treated in minors, majors and resus. The department is currently supported by 22 Consultants.

      The successful candidate will have previous UK experience training in EM at ACCS level and have successfully completed their MRCEM. This post is fixed for 12 months and could be recognised for OOPE or OOPT depending on candidate preference.

      The successful candidate would undertake 50% clinical duties working in the ED on the Tier 4 rota using our existing self-rostering process.

      The remaining 50% to fulfil roles within Medical Education. This could be adapted to a LTFT rota pro-rata.

      This post is required to commence in September 2025.
