- Work under supervision on assay design and feasibility studies
- Assist in performing and supporting validations, research collaborations, clinical studies and trials, and various departmental projects
- Consistently and independently perform complex procedures and projects
- Prepare and organize high-quality technical data and documentation
- Participate in collaborative settings with other departments, clients, auditors, vendors, and attend conferences
- Prepare testing equipment and assist with quality control and preventative maintenance
- Operate and perform minor troubleshooting on applicable laboratory instruments
- Assist in the preparation of validation documentation and new test procedures, following manufacturer guidelines or established SOPs
- Take initiative in suggesting improvements to quality, efficiency, and productivity, and provide consistent feedback
- Assist in training staff on new tests and equipment
- Track and maintain validation study timelines for each project
- Maintain familiarity with CAP/CLIA requirements and demonstrate knowledge of specialty standards within those organizations
- Bacheloru2019s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent work experience required
- 2 or more years of industry-related laboratory experience is required in experience in Flow Cytometry, Validation, Research, Pharmaceuticals, and Clinical Trials is preferred
- Detail oriented with ability to capture and record scientific data accurately and reliably
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal presentation skills and u se software tools to present data
