Job Description
- Req#: JP-005549659
- Receive and triage all specimens for clinical testing.
- Manage clinical information within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database.
- Perform internal audits of clinical charts.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure testing accuracy.
- Order samples and handle freezing and pouring of specimens.
- Occasionally visit the surgery center within the building to collect samples.
- Rarely visit a nearby hospital (1 block away) to obtain specimens.
- Proficiency in data entry.
- High level of professionalism and reliability.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in accessioning, sample, and specimen collection preferred.
- Knowledge of medical and sample preparation processes preferred.
- 0-2 years of work experience.
- An Associate's (AS) or Bachelor's (BS) degree in biological sciences is preferred.
- Proven attention to accuracy and deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
