- Documents all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratoryu2019s established performance specifications
- Demonstrates initiative in making suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity and provides consistent feedback
- Maintains laboratory in a clean, functional state, as well as cleaning, performing or scheduling equipment and instrument maintenance/calibration/certification, as required
- Participates in continuing education
- Au00A0Bacheloru2019s u00A0 Degree u00A0 from u00A0 an u00A0 accredited u00A0 college u00A0 or u00A0 university u00A0in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences with the addition of at least one year of laboratory experience/training/training course is required
- Au00A0Bacheloru2019s Degree u00A0 in u00A0 Medical u00A0 Technology u00A0is preferred
- Level u00A0 I: u00A01+ years of clinical reference laboratory work in Cytogenetics strongly preferred
- Nationally: u00A0Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist ASCP certification
- Florida: u00A0Current state license to perform laboratory testing = Medical Laboratory Professional
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques
- Possesses appropriate computer skills to accomplish tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Motivated to work independently and within a team environment
- Willing to work in a biohazard environment and follow safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual
- Good visual acuity including color perception required for certain departments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

As au00A0 Clinical u00A0 Laboratory u00A0 Technologist u00A0 I Dry Lab u00A0you will work under general supervision and you will be responsible for accurately performing highly complex laboratory testing procedures. You will determine acceptability of specimens for testing, prepare clinical specimens and identify specimen related problems.u00A0u00A0You will also analyze specimens, review and release test results. You will have the means to prepare stock solutions, reagents and cocktails used in the laboratory. You will then test these based on standard criteria and document all observations.u00A0u00A0Additional responsibilities include but are not limited too;u00A0u00A0Education:
