- Active, Current CA RN License
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing and must complete a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing within two years of the hire date.
- A minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience within an acute healthcare environment or in an outpatient infusion environment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal skills, organizational ability, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety measures and infection control, ability to follow instructions, knowledge of the age of the population served, and additional skills and knowledge of the equipment that may be required for hire into some patient care departments.
- BSN
- Specialty Nursing Units: experience or specialty or ability to successfully complete a training program
- Current Chemotherapy-Biotherapy certification.
- Qualified bilingual or multilingual candidates
Salary Range: $51.7300 - $80.5400 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
The Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process based on research and evidence-based outcomes to meet patient care needs. Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment. Demonstrates leadership skills by directing personnel and establishing collegial relationships with others. Provides quality nursing care to all patients in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act, and professional regulatory standards. Displays and practices a work style reflecting the mission, vision, and values of the department and the Organization. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures, including the use of specialized instrumentation, Quality Control requirements, and preventive maintenance.
The patient population served is the Outpatient Treatment Center. The primary responsibility of the nursing staff is to provide direct patient care and to collaborate with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and appropriate quality patient care.
