      The role you’ll contribute:

      The Clinical Operations Coordinator is a professional and empathetic individual who not only manages flow within the organization but also the housewide staffing component for nursing services. This position requires an adept multitasker who is able to quickly assess and prioritize projects, based on deadlines, complexity, process flow and person-hours required. This individual must possess writing skills, problem solving with effective solutions, and be a team player and motivator. The individual in this role handles multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and heavy phone activity. In the staffing comnpliment of the role, the clinical operations coordinator will evaluate staffing for next shift and make patient centered moves by floating team members to the areas of greatest need. Additionally, they will be responsible for making all daily adjustments including floats, staff call-outs, additions, etc. Works closely with the administrative nursing supervisor to develop a safe plan for staffing, while continuing to answer the phone and direct float pool to their assignment. In the placement role, the clinical operations coordinator has the responsibility to plan, prioritize, organize, direct and control all admissions and transfers between nursing units and hospitals for AdventHealth Tampa. Acts as a liaison between referring hospitals, physician offices, and nursing departments on issues pertaining to the placement of all patients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

      · Makes all patient placement decisions in accordance with diagnosis, appropriate unit criterion, acuity and location.

      The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

      · Minimum two years of clinical experience.

      PREFERRED:
      • Previous staffing office experience
      • Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic Certificate.
      • Previous experience in a patient placement or transfer center
      • Previous clinical experience in a critical care area.
